Susan Jankowski and Marissa Sardar are the mother/daughter inventor team. Along with help from attorney and business partner Lesley Rhyne they invented, designed and patented the protective breast shield also known as Top Shot™.
They applied for patents, and got to work on designing the product with engineers from Maramed/Biosculptor in Miami, FL, who helped make it a real product for real people of all sizes. Marissa, a competitive athlete, was the inspiration for this product. She was frustrated and angry at being hit in the chest during sports. After searching for something to protect her, they found nothing that would work.
